Why We Created This Tool
There is a lot of toxic rhetoric around the ACC exam. It’s so significant that lots of coaches simply don’t ever take the exam – which is crazy! The amount of time, energy and money we have poured into becoming a coach, and many of us fail to become credentialled because we are afraid of the exam.
That stops now.
We created this tool to help coaches build their exam confidence, one question at a time. No one but you knows which questions you’ve answered, or whether you got them right or wrong. No one but you knows your test results other than you. You can answer as many questions as you like and take as many tests as you like until you feel confident enough to tackle the real exam.

The Dashboard
The clean, clear interface makes it simple to navigate.
1) The Revision Tool
There’s an unlimited number of questions, across all Core Competencies and the Code of Ethics, as well as Coaching Definition and Client Relationships. In short, all exam topics are covered.
You can answer as many questions as you want to, either on your laptop or your phone. You have unlimited access to the tool for as long as you subscribe (just £10pm + VAT).
You choose your response based on the scenario and the competency being tested (top right of the screen tells you) and are given instant feedback:
We learn far more from understanding why we were wrong than we do from simply getting a binary correct/wrong result.
You can continue answering questions for as long as you want to. You will find that questions repeat occasionally – this is because repetition aids learning.
2) The Timed Practice Test
In the actual exam, we get 90 minutes to answer 60 questions, that’s 90 seconds per question.
In the Timed Practice Test, you’re given 22. 5 minutes to answer 15 questions. There is a clear indication of how much time you’ve used so far, as well as how much more of the test you have to do. There is no instant feedback in this mode, as results are provided at the end of the test.

Your results are provided immediately after you have answered all 15 questions and submitted them. This is the page header (perhaps I should have spent more time answering the questions!)
As well as an overall score, each question is shown. You can see clearly what the question was, what you answered, which the right question is and – most importantly – why.
There is no limit to the number of Timed Practice Tests you can take.
3) Harder Revision
For the sheer love of a challenge, we have included a small number of ‘harder’ revision questions, with instant results provided. These are more of a PCC level question. In keeping with the ACC exam structure, you only need to choose the best answer. In the PCC exam, you must choose the best and the worst (and selecting the worst one is where coaches fall down – our PCC Exam Prep Tool is in progress 😉).
And that’s it!
There’s help if you need it (on the navigation bar on the dashboard) and if you spot a problem question, you can alert us to that by clicking the ‘Report an issue with this question’ link below each question.
Pricing
The fee for using this app is £10pm (+VAT). The reason the fee is so low is that in my experience, most coaches who have yet to take their ACC exam are not yet earning anything significant from their coaching. £10pm is affordable for all of us and you can continue to subscribe until you’ve passed your exam.
There’s no contract, you can cancel at any time.
